"Barbara Menendez Bradham, 69, daughter of Chandler and Agnes Platt, born May 24, 1948 in Jacksonville, Florida, passed away December 26, 2017 surrounded by her family in Jacksonville, Florida.   She was the owner of multiple local businesses and was a successful and brilliant businesswoman who paved the way for many others.  She never missed a chance to help someone in need and raised her children by the same values. She would always say that we all have room in our hearts to love as many people as we want. She was ever so proud of her family.  Her husband, Chuck, would lovingly take care of her and make her laugh just when she needed it.  She loved talking with her brother, loved hearing about her daughter’s life every day, loved visiting with her son, and enjoyed being around her family and her dog, Rocky.  Her grandkids loved going to “Camp Nana” when they were little.   She had an enduring spirit and she was one of the toughest people we will ever know. She will be missed dearly. Barbara was strong in her faith and loved fiercely.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Chandler E. and Agnes T. Platt (Tomkins) and her brothers Chandler and Christopher Platt.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charlie Bradham, children Deborah Conti (Jeff) and Daniel Menendez (Joanna), stepchildren Tim Bradham and Angel Turner, brother Robert Platt (Ruth), grandchildren Gavin, Samantha and Joseph, nieces and nephew Danyse, Chrissie, Adam and Aaron.

Funeral Service will be January 12, 2018 at St. Patrick Catholic Church 601 Airport Center Dr. E Jacksonville, Fl 32218. Burial to follow at Arlington Park Cemetery.
