Paul R. Mitchell, Funeral Home Manager / Funeral Director

Paul has been committed to funeral service and its ministry for more than 45 years. He has experience in all facets of the industry and is passionate about putting families first. He’s active in the community through various boards and local service clubs, and is past president of two Chamber of Commerce organizations. He enjoys boating, golfing, bicycling and walking, but especially enjoys spending time with his wife, Deanna, and their three children and wonderful grandchildren.

Dianne L. Conner, Funeral Director & Embalmer

Dianne joined the staff in January 2012, and has a particular passion for serving military and law enforcement families, as well as fire and rescue. The longtime Jacksonville resident has served as a volunteer ambassador with the PedsCare division of Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, and is a supporter of Jacksonville Humane Society and No More Homeless Pets. She also has been active with the Wounded Warrior Project, Rotary Club, and the International Business Women’s Association.

Tommy Doyle, Funeral Director & Embalmer

Tommy never tires of helping families over the many hurdles they face after losing a loved one. He joined our staff in January 2017 with 20 years of funeral experience, but he also is an Air Force veteran, pilot, diver and former pastor. He speaks fluent Spanish and is currently working on his Captain's License.

Douglas Davidson, Funeral Director & Embalmer

Doug had more than 20 years of funeral service experience when he joined our staff in February 2015. A Jacksonville resident since 1997, he is active in his community by serving as a CPR instructor and through his veteran work with the American Legion.

Peggy Combs, Receptionist

Peggy joined our staff in 2014 and feels honored to assist families in their time of need. She is a strong supporter of our first responders and military, both active duty and veterans. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their cats. She is the very proud mother of two sons - one in the Navy and one in the Marine Corps.

Marvin Flynn, Funeral Attendant

Marvin has assisted with funeral services here since 2007, and feels honored to offer his support to families during their time of need. The longtime Jacksonville resident is a member and deacon of New Spirit Full Gospel Ministry Church, and also serves as a Community Hospice volunteer. In his free time, he enjoys deep sea fishing, playing dominos, and reading spiritual books. He has been blessed with a big family, which include his beautiful and loving wife Deborah, six children, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Bryan enjoys spending time with his family, and especially loves to go fishing with his grandpa. He is known for going the extra mile to make sure the families at Arlington Park are cared for, and feels it is a privilege to help them during their time of need.

Curtis Harris, Funeral Attendant

Curtis, who joined our staff in February 2008, finds warmth and comfort knowing his work allows him to assists families during their time of loss. The married father of three enjoys relaxing and spending quality time with his family on his days off.

Denise Helms, Funeral Attendant

Denise came to Arlington in August 2007 after working more than 20 years in city government as a cross connection inspector. She is truly dedicated to making sure families receive service in a timely manner. An Alabama native, she was born and raised in Huntsville and educated in Decatur. She is an active resident of Holly Oaks Estate, and serves as street captain in her neighborhood's community watch program. She is the proud pet parent of five cats, and enjoys going to estate sales and walking the trails at UNF.

Shelby Jackson, Funeral Attendant

Shelby was born and raised in Cheatham County, Tennessee. After high school, she married a Marine (former active) and moved to Alabama where they raised their three children. Shelby relocated to Jacksonville with her husband in 1981, and joined our staff in 2005. Shelby loves that her job allows her to help people during their time of sorrow and grief. Having lost her daughter in 2008, she truly understands the grief families go through following the death of a loved one.

Rose Miller, Funeral Attendant

Rose started working services here in 2016 after a 40-year career with Florida Telco. She is the proud mother of two sons, and the doting grandmother to three wonderful grandchildren, which are the apple of her eye. In addition to spending time with friends and family, Rose enjoys quilting, traveling and reading.

Fred Samuels, Funeral Assistant

Fred relocated to Jacksonville in 1992 with CSX Transportation and retired in March 2004 as manager of customer accounting. After a year of relaxation, he began assisting with our services and driving the coach. Known as a real people-person, Fred enjoys being able to comfort people during their time of grief.


Peggy Greemon, Cemetery Sales Manager

Peggy feels honored to be able to help people during one of the hardest times in their lives. She had more than 25 years of experience in the cemetery and funeral industry before joining our staff in 2015, and has consistently and diligently worked hard to make the cemetery better.

Virmia Simms, Pre-Planning Specialist

Virmia was born in Puerto Rico, and has used her bilingual skills here since she joined our staff in May 2008. She lives in the Oceanway Community and attends St. Patrick Church. She is married with six children, seven grandchildren, and two spoiled dogs. She enjoys fishing, camping, and other family-focused activities.

Chris Scalf, Pre-Planning Specialist

Chris relocated to Florida from Northeast Tennessee with his family in 1985. He is a graduate of Daytona State College and has been in the customer service industry for 30 years. He joined the Arlington Park staff in 2015 after working at Deland Memorial Gardens. He is truly committed to serving each family with honor and respect.

Dalla Roberts, Cemetery Administrator

Dalla joined our staff in January 2017 after working for many years in the construction industry. In 2004, the Georgia native moved to Jacksonville, where she lives with her fiancé and Yorkshire terriers. Her family also includes two daughters, three stepchildren, and three grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with family, camping and reading.

Michelle Ashby, Asst. Cemetery Administrator

Michelle began working in our cemetery office in February 2017. She has lived most of her life in Florida, but is originally from Georgia. She and her husband are the proud "pet parents" to a little dog named Bella. When not at work, Michelle enjoys cooking, shopping and spending time with her family.

Ismael Milo Rivera, Cemetery Superintendent

Ismael has worked at Arlington Park since 2014. Originally from Brooklyn, he lives in Ormond Beach with his beautiful wife and daughter. He enjoys spending his free time with family and watching football.
