Paul R. Mitchell, Funeral Director In Charge

Paul has been committed to funeral service and its ministry for more than 45 years. He has experience in all facets of the industry and is passionate about putting families first. He’s active in the community through various boards and local service clubs, and is past president of two Chamber of Commerce organizations. He enjoys boating, golfing, bicycling and walking, but especially enjoys spending time with his wife, Deanna, and their three children and wonderful grandchildren.

Dianne L. Conner, Funeral Director & Embalmer

Dianne joined the staff in January 2012, and has a particular passion for serving military and law enforcement families, as well as fire and rescue. The longtime Jacksonville resident has served as a volunteer ambassador with the PedsCare division of Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, and is a supporter of Jacksonville Humane Society and No More Homeless Pets. She also has been active with the Wounded Warrior Project, Rotary Club, and the International Business Women’s Association.

Douglas Davidson, Funeral Director & Embalmer

Doug had more than 20 years of funeral service experience when he joined our staff in February 2015. A Jacksonville resident since 1997, he is active in his community by serving as a CPR instructor and through his veteran work with the American Legion.

Mireille Jorcin, Funeral Administrator

Born in Cairo, Egypt, Mireille grew up in Luxor among the famous temples and tombs of the Pharaohs. She graduated from a multilingual secretarial school in Rome, and worked at hotels in Montreal and Nassau, while owning a catering business. With a passion of helping those in need, she joined our funeral home staff in July 2012. She is married with two sons and two grandchildren, and has a dog named Molly. In her free time, Mireille enjoys painting, sewing, and the beach.

Della Helms, Details Clerk

Denise came to Arlington in August 2007 after working more than 20 years in city government as a cross connection inspector. She is truly dedicated to making sure families receive service in a timely manner. An Alabama native, she was born and raised in Huntsville and educated in Decatur. She is an active resident of Holly Oaks Estate, and serves as street captain in her neighborhood's community watch program. She is the proud pet parent of five cats, and enjoys going to estate sales and walking the trails at UNF.

Marvin Flynn, Funeral Attendant

Marvin has assisted with funeral services here since 2007, and feels honored to offer his support to families during their time of need. The longtime Jacksonville resident is a member and deacon of New Spirit Full Gospel Ministry Church, and also serves as a Community Hospice volunteer. In his free time, he enjoys deep sea fishing, playing dominos, and reading spiritual books. He has been blessed with a big family, which include his beautiful and loving wife Deborah, six children, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Virmia was born in Puerto Rico, and has used her bilingual skills here since she joined our staff in May 2008. She lives in the Oceanway Community and attends St. Patrick Church. She is married with six children, seven grandchildren, and two spoiled dogs. She enjoys fishing, camping, and other family-focused activities.
